“Wonderful stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2009

The O'Connors are wonderful B&B hosts. Beth made us very welcome when we arrived, settling us in the sitting room with hot tea and cookies and some good conversation. Adrian is a musician, and though we didn't have the opportunity to hear him play, he evidently does play in the local pubs.

The rooms were very pleasant and clean. My only disappointment was that the house is much further from the water than I had expected, though up high on a hill, so our bedroom view of the Cliffs of Moher wasn't quite what I had anticipated. But it was still a wonderful introduction for our first night's stay in Ireland.

“Nice Resting Place After Cliffs of Moher”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2009

This was our stop after driving from Galway to the Cliffs of Moher and we were much in need of a quiet spot to rest. The B&B is a few minutes' drive from the pubs and easy to reach. The owners were helpful in pointing us toward the most lovely pub for trad music on a Saturday night. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and the vegetarian sausage was a nice addition for us. If you stay here, be sure to look up at the stars at night. The lack of light pollution in the area makes for a spectacular night-time view.

“A house with character, great views and great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2009

When we arrived at this B&B we were greated by the friendly owner who was a world of information about things to do around the area. We were shown to our rooms that have a rustic, farmhouse feel. The room and linen were very clean and the room had a felt very warm and cosy. For breakfast we were offered a good hearty irish breakfast or healthier options. The food was very tasty and was plentiful to fill us up for the morning. There was information leaflets in the reception area that made if useful to plan what we were going to do. The owners gave us a genuine welcome that made one feel comfortable instantly. Very easy going and is a definate if one is looking for a quiet getaway.

“True Irish Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 June 2009

This was our first trip to Ireland and it will not be the last. The O'Connor's have a lovely B&B and are very accomodating. You can't go wrong staying here, if you like to keep it simple.

“Wonderful B & B near Cliffs of Moher and Doolin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2006

My husband, 16 yr old daughter and myself stayed at the Craggy Island B & B July 3, 2006 for one night. We had the main floor family room with my daughter having a separate twin bedded attached room to herself. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were lovely and clean. My daughter said she had an awesome sleep! It was lovely and quiet and close to the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin and the Burren. Breakfast in the morning was great with a number of options available including not only a full Irish Breakfast but lighter and vegetarian versions as well.
