“Return Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

This was my third visit to this warm, comfortable bed and breakfast and as usual, everything was perfect. The weather was windy and cold but inside was a great welcome from Margaret and an added bonus was the fact that my electric blanket was turned on each night. Such comfort! Breakfast was wonderful, home made bread and jams and a full Irish breakfast if needed. My room was spacious and warm and newly decorated with en suite bathroom with power shower. I can't wait to return and, in fact, have booked my room for a week in June.

Room Tip: All rooms are pleasant (I had a peek!)

“Our Favorive Place in Ireland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

We arrived a little late due to the tale end of a Hurricane, but we were greeted with the most
gracious hostess named Margaret, she was a such a special warm and welcoming woman.
Just what we needed. The home was immaculate and our room was charming, clean and
well appointed. It was brand new, it looked as if the room had just been remodeled. The
bathroom was a sight for sore eyes. Margaret was so accomodating even offering her
computer when ours was not picking up the internet. She also let us use her phone with
our international phone card. My phone stopped working. I think the hurricane had something
to do with this. She even called our next B&B to be sure all was ok on that part or Ireland,
due to the Hurricane. I have and will continue to recommend Emohrou as one of the best
places to stay, because of Margaret's lovliness and her welcoming ways and the fabulous
home that she runs. Sandee B

Room Tip: As far as I could tell all the rooms were great!!!!

“Home Away from Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

Our family has enjoyed the hospitality of Margaret and family for many years. Our most recent visit in July 2011 felt like a homecoming. The welcome was sincere, the conversation delightful and the Irish breakfast the best of our two weeks on the Emerald Isle. Doolin has grown since our first visit in 1987 and Margaret has upgraded the accomodations, but the warmth of Emohruo remains constant!

“The warmest Irish welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2011

Margaret , your host, will greet you with a pot of tea or coffee. She is warm and friendly and her home is large and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and spotless with a comfortable chair and good beds. Located close to the Cliffs of Moher and a short ride to the village, we really enjoyed our time there. The home baking was the best we had on our entire trip! We highly recommend this place. A little restaurant cafe is just across the road. The outside lighting is very good so returning late is not a problem.

Room Tip: All the rooms seemed very quiet.

“WelcomingB&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

This was the first B&B we stayed in on our recent trip to Ireland. Margaret welcomed us with open arms and true Irish charm. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the Dubs play Kerry in the finals of the Gaelic Football match on the sitting room TV. There is a very nice restaurant across the street where we had a nice dinner. Our only regret is that we were not within walking distance of the pubs in Doolin. Otherwise, the B&B is nicely situated between the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren area.
