“Great location and very welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

We stayed in Killilagh House B&B last Sept. while on a short visit to Ireland. From the start, we felt right at home. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had the best shower of our trip. The B&B is just 2 minutes walk from 2 great pubs that had live music sessions
every night, McDermotts & McGanns. The breakfast was very good too with lovely home baking

“Why you come to Ireland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

This a family run place right in the heart of Doolin. The owner Brihde and her family are wonderful. The family room accommodated myself, my husband, and three small kids with no problem. The breakfast was the best we had in 5 cities. Homemade baked goods, homemade marmalade, fresh ingredients, custom built breakfasts to accommodate the babes. He full Irish is to die for, as are the other dishes she offers. Really helpful and friendly staff that treated you like a house guest. Provided a high chair and a baby cot with linen and a stuffed animal. The place was strategically located, clean, and welcoming. This was everything you want when you take your family to Ireland. Wifi, lots of local info, and someone always close by to answer a question.Worth every dime.

Room Tip: They offer family rooms if you are traveling with small kids. One large bed, three twin beds, and a...

“Great Stay at Killilagh House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

Located equidistant between the Burren and Cliffs of Mohr and less than 50 yards from the best music/ pub in most of Ireland, McCanns, you can't go wrong. Rooms were large, clean, free wi-fi. They lit the peet stove when we arrived and made to order the best breakfast we had in Ireland this trip. Thank you Brid for the fine stay! We will stopping by the Druid for a pint soon.

Room Tip: Get to McCanns before 8, get a bite to eat and you should have good seats for the trad music to come...

“Killilagh House..over & above(Sept. 09)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

Reading these fine reviews of Killilagh House brought to mind my stay in Sept. 09. Great room, wonderful Irish breakfast. The over&above part??? I asked Mike (prop.) What's the best way to get to the pier, I going out to the Islands.?"
"Hang on," he sez, I'll give you a lift."
Gave me a lift to the pier with the tip of using "Doolin 2 Aran" the co. with the bright yellow bldg. which I did.
After I returned to the mailland one of the owners of the boat co. (P.J.) gave me a "lift" back to Killilagh House and said, "Say hi to Mike, we were school chums."
Doesn't get any better that that.
Thanks again Mike & P.J.
Michael G.

“A Great B&B in a very small town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

We stayed here 2 nights - it was a great place and we were served a delicious breakfast each morning, I would recommend going to Doolin during season. it's a very small town and during season there will be more people and definitely more sessions at the pubs. We went in mid-March 2010 - Doolin was almost a ghost town, I would definitely stay during seeson at this B&B if we ever go back to Doolin. We stayed

Room Tip: There isn't one room better than another I don't think?
