The hostel is great. I spent here one night doing a solo trip through the Burren. The owners were charming and helpful. I've got everything I needed up to recommendations where was the best place in Doolin for dinner. Bed, shower, Internet connection and - perhaps the most important - calm and friendly atmosphere. If you are like me and enjoy quite cozy places, nature and wonderful views, I bet you like Aille River Hostel. To owners - thank you very much for great vacations.

Best hostel ever. The rooms are clean and quite big. Showers are also very clean but it's not possible to regulate the temperature, so it's quite hot. The staff is super friendly. Great price. 16.50€ for a bed and 8€ for camping

Nothing more to say. Best hostel ever.

We stayed in a double-bedrooms with was small but big enough to sleep in. The importand thing in this hostel ist the very friendly and communicative atmosphe downstairs. A cosy fire, often musik a good kitchen to make a tea.
Karl was always around with tips on the area.

Used this hostel with my family and found it to be perfect! Have stayed in many hostels over the years and found that its always the small things that make up a great stay. For travellers the free washing machine, free internet and the clean well equipped kitchen are not always the norm - this is not the case with Aille. Karl is brilliant and a mine of information. The hostel is clean, warm and cosy and everything that a hostel should be. Would recommend this hostel and look forward to staying here again :)
