“Never slept better”

We arrived at Trildoon and was greeted by Lorraine at the front door. She was welcoming and very kind. Offered us tea, but we declined, we thought just having a quick nap would be wonderful before we headed out later to go into Doolin to listen to some live Irish Music...the reason we were staying the night in Doolin. Well, we were so comfortable in our room that we never moved, we slept from 5:30 til 5:30 the next morning. It was so comfortable that we did not want to move at all. Lorraine gave us a wonderful breakfast the next morning and had a great chat. I fell inlove with their Irish Setter, Rex, the sweetest dog ever. They had two beautiful horses as well. The view from the house was amazing and would have loved to have had the chance to sit outside and just relax. Thank you for the best night of sleep in a long time!

“A B&B that makes you feel at home”

When my friend and I arrived at Trildoon House, with a beautiful view and some cute horses on the land, we were immediately greeted by the owner Mrs.Fitzpatrick. She helped take our luggage to our room and offered us a cup of tea and some biscuits. She asked us what places we planned to visit and told us about others, and offered to take us to some, except regretted that her car was in the shop. She was always there when we had a question and let us use her personal computer if we needed to check something out. She always ensured that we were comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious and filling! The day of departure we took the bus to Ennis and she took our biggest luggage and told us that she could drop it off later, as she would be in that part of town. My experience at this B&B was absolutely amazing and I will recommend it to all that plan on visiting that area. When I go back to Doolin I know where I'll be staying!

“Outstanding place, clean, great location”

If you would like to stay in Doolin but be far enough way from the noise of the pubs yet within easy driving distance to the said pubs, then stay at Trildoon House. Great place to stay to visit all the surrounding tourist sites, Cliffs of Mohr, Ballyvaughn and a couple of hours to the Canemara mountains and an hour away to Galway. Rooms are very clean and a very nice selection of breakfasts, that is, you do not have to eat a classic Irish Full Breakfast every morning. Extremely helpful and friendly hosts who provided many valuable suggestions as to where we should tour. Thank you!

“Simply Great !!”

We only stayed one night but we'd return again. Lorraine is a super hostess, very helpful and always ready to assist. Super knowledge of the local area and great with directions. We got to watch the sun set over the Alantic from our bed. Can't get more special than that !! Only a few minutes from the Cliffs of Moher or great food and music. The views from this B&B are breathtaking. Room was clean, spacious, and the bed very comfortable. Location is easy to find and quiet as well. Breakfast was super, you won't leave hungry !!

“Astonishing views, picture perfect room, and quality service”

My wife and I were touring around Ireland and decided last minute to find a B&B near the Cliffs of Moher, which, as it turns out is not hard at all - they're all over! Well, after stopping at a couple of places which had no vacancies, we turned up a tiny road which led up a hill and turned into the Trildoon House.
Lorraine met me at the door, immediately showed me the room (which could not be more picture perfect for a country Irish B&B), and we were sold. The windows looked out on the tiny green peninsula, onto the sea, with the Aran Islands silhouetted against the gorgeous sunset. Lorraine gave us recommendations for dinner (The Stonecutters - amazing!), and a local pub to listen to music. She also, the next morning after a positively wonderful breakfast, took the time to find us the best route South toward the Ring of Kerry.
I highly recommend Lorraine's home and I hope her all the best.
