We stayed for 5 nights during the World Cup. All of the staff were extremely friendly & efficient. The hotel was charming and immaculate and set in beautiful grounds. We would definitely recommend it to family & friends.

I returned now for the 2nd time to Greenways Hotel. A big, familiar smile greets me at the door and as soon as I step on the terrace after an overnight flight from a very cold Germany I feel “despeeded” and I know I am home; my relaxation starts immediately. Half of the guests looked familiar from the last year, but there were also some new faces and a lot of families with children in all ages. The staff is very attentive, but not intrusive. Most of the staff members even know how to pronounce my name. Henry even remembers that I like my porridge prepared with water. It is hard to believe, but the garden looks lusher, greener than last year. Samantha, the chef is a real asset for the hotel, her kitchen is fresh, healthy, simply delicious. For me Greenways and Cape Town is heaven and I will definitely return, hopefully next year.

stuck away from busy cape town centre/waterfront in one of the most scenic residential areas of cape town ( you will need a car though)
beautiful manor style house in gorgeous park with individually decorated rooms
breakfast included and lunches and dinners beeing served on beatiful terrace or restaurant
extremly knowledgeable and helpful owner
very polite and attentive staff

We chose Greenways as we had previously stayed at the Waterfront and wanted to be somewhere away from the bustle of Downtown this time. The hotel was perfect, situated in a very quiet area of the city suburbs yet has easy access to all the main attractions. The property has magnificent large gardens and is beautifully furnished. Service was excellent, accomodation was spacious and we were very well looked after. We would happily return to the hotel on our next visit to Cape Town.
