We had stayed at the Oxford Thames two years ago and again it did not dissapoint. We were upgraded to a lovely room as it was our anniversary and our freinds birthday. The room was very modern and clean, with a patio and wonderful view. The dinner was excellent and the service was great. The staff were really very helpful. We used the swimming pool and the jacquizi and the attendant asked if we would like dressing gowns to wear. The whole ambiance of the hotel is first class a wonderul way to spend the weekend, sitting by the fire in the bar area. The area outdoors is beautiful to have a walk and the river is stunning. We will be returning to the Oxford Thames and would like to take our chidlren to have a weekend away. This hotel is highly recomended .

Wanted a short break in Oxford and came across this hotel. So glad we did. Everything about it was perfect. First of all, everyone was friendly and helpful (and I mean everyone, reception, bar and restaurant). We stayed in the Christchuch room and it was a great size room with a great bed. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food each night was superb. Could not fault it. Would we go back.....YES

We stayed In an old college room which although a little noisy at times was like a suite. The food was good in the restaurant.

All in all a relaxing stay. I would recommend and will be going back.

A really great place to hold a business meeting as I did today. Easily accessible from the Oxford ringroad, this lovely hotel comprises a range of barns with modern extensions very tastefully designed to compliment the look.

Very attentive and helpful staff too.

For me this is undoubtedly the best of the Four Pillars chain around the City. I shall be back very soon .... next week in fact!
