Stayed 2 nights here. Rooms were nice and big, modern with comfy beds and very clean linen and what looked like new carpets. Bathroom was very clean and shower was hot and powerfull. Didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that but plenty of places nearby to eat. Bar wasnt open during the day but as we were there the last two days before the hotel closed for the season it was understandable. Lots of lovley pubs within 2 minutes walking distance. Can recommend Kennys around the corner for dinner and few drinks with live music at the weekends.

This hotel was fine- nothing fancy but clean and bright, and the staff were pleasant. However, after a long day out cycling I was very disappointed to discover that the 'hot' setting on the shower wasn't at all 'hot'....there was only a faint hint of warmth :-((

Lahinch is a great spot with wonderful sights nearby, unfortunately this isn't one of them. The place is definitely not 4 star.
We booked two nights B&B. The room was clean, but poorly maintained. The bathroom extract fan wasn’t working and the bathtub cover was broken with a nasty looking screw patiently waiting to cause injury. The place gave the impression that it had been botched together about 20 years ago and not maintained since. The buffet breakfast was cold on the first morning. On the second morning there was no hot water! We decided to brave breakfast again while this was sorted. This was the wrong choice. The breakfast was chaotic. After asking 4 times for a cup for my coffee and waiting 30mins, I was finally given one which was very obviously just rinsed under the tap and still had tea and sugar stains on it. We gave up and returned to our room only to discover that the hot water, like us will not be returning, at least we didn’t need the extract fan!
In short, this place is under managed, under staffed, poorly maintained and operated. As an Irish person I feel embarrassed that visitors, particularly international ones, should suffer this sort of service. We’re in a recession we should be promoting ourselves, get your act together. I will not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone else.

We booked two nights B&B with one dinner, when we went to make a reservation for dinner we were told the restaurant was closed, but we could eat in the Chinese instead. No thanks.
The bed was the most uncomfortable we ever slept in. Ancient-creaked with the slightest movement. Breakfast was cold. Cigarette machine was also ancient, and located in a type of large broom cupboard, filled with all sorts of junk and bicycles.
The hotel was central, clean and the staff were courteous and pleasant, but we were very disappointed with the general upkeep of the hotel. If we had known we would have to go to a neighbouring hotel for dinner we would have stayed there, and not at this one. Definitely wouldnt stay there again, let alone recommend it to anyone else.
