We had a wonderful time at the Kilbrogan House. We arrived in Bandon County Cork to be close to where my ancesters came from. We felt extremely welcomed and comfortable. Catherine was a wonderful hostess. The rooms were fabulous. Our two sons were thrilled with the extraordinary breakfast feast each morning. We would highly recommend staying here.

A beautifully restored and furnished home in the heart of Bandon providing elegance and tranquility. The owners are wonderful, providing help, conversation and a sensational breakfast. It is a perfect place from which to explore the west of County Cork and return in the evening to the peace and beauty of the house and garden.

This is the perfect location to see Cork and the southern coast of Cork. The house was beautiful, the hostess and her brother were fantastic and gave great advice on things to do and things to skip. The hostess' brother was the cook and took time out of his day to explain the rules of Gaelic football and hurling...which I found interesting and appreciated. Charlie's Bar next door is pefect if you want a real "pub" experience....not a tourist trap and full of real Irish. Bandon is the perfect location to Kinsale, Drumberg Stone Circle and the rest of south Cork. We highly recommend it.

For the best way to explore County Cork and relax in a historic residence, nothing beats Kilbrogan House.my visit to bandon was part of a long held dream for visiting ireland. your land and your people are a magnet for dreamers and doers. there's plenty to see. i especially enjoyed my driving tour of Cork. Kilbrogan was the nicest place that I stayed and the only place that I stayed while in Cork. As Ireland is a magnet for upscale travelling, Kilbrogan is a godsend for the visitor.
