“Envious”

Our experience at Teach de Broc was excellent. Aiofe and Seamus are fantastic and welcomed us despite our being booked at another guest house.

We arrived in Ballybunion very late on a Sunday night. Our own guest house nearby didn't serve either food or drinks (no bar) so our driver suggested a visit to Teach de Broc nearby.

Well, we didn't have high hopes of getting much service given the late hour but Seamus and Aiofe personally made sure we were fed and tended the bar for us with the warmth of old friends. Aiofe also freely offered what turned out to be crucial advice for managing our two rounds at Ballybunion the next day.

When we visit again, Teach de Broc will be our stay of choince. We were quite envious of the guests lucky enough to have known and booked there. Our guesthouse was also quite nice, but was missing the touch of class and warm hospitality that Seamus, Aiofe and their staff bring to bear.

They made the trip memorable for us. You won't find a better host in all Ireland.

My wife & I and another couple stayed here for 3 days recently, and were thrilled by the friendly and enthusiastic hospitality. Charming owners and staff, excellent food service, unmatched golf convenience (including a call to Ballybunion starter to adjust a tee time).
We felt like part of the family there, very warm and accommodating to guests. Clean and modern rooms, convenient parking.

Our experience at Teach de Broc was excellent. Aiofe and Seamus were wonderful and accommodating to our group. We arrived back later than expected one night, after the kitchen officially closed, and they made us pizzas without hesitation. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is pefect especially for golfers. The driving range is right across the street. It is a nice walk into the village. We truly enjoyed our stay at Teach de Broc and look forward to our next visit.

“Thank goodness for real Irish hospitality”

My wife and I stayed at 4 different hotels while on our Ireland trip. None could compare with Teac de Broc. Aiofe and Seamus are the perfect hosts and made this a true Irish stay. We had decided to eat in the restauraunt the first night and then go into town for the second. Our meal was so delicious that we stayed "home" for the next night also. The rooms were probably not as Irish authentic as some would wish but we whole heartedly prefer COMFORT to quaint and Teac de Broc deliverded in spades for us, King size bed included. Really wish we had made this our base and visited other towns and golf courses from here.

We had a delightful golfing stay at Teach de Broc. We had booked a golf package on line that included two games at Ballybunion and everything was as promised. : the tee times, the practice facilities (a few steps away from the hotel,) the accommodation and the meals. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and clean. There is an intimate bar and an excellent dining room– in fact, we decided to eat there on the third day, even though it twas not included in the package, because of the quality of the food and service. The owners, Seamus and Aiofe were delightful hosts and most helpful. This was not our first trip to Ireland – we have played many golf courses and stayed at different places – and we would recommend Teach de Broc without reservation for anyone wanting a top notch golfing holiday in Ireland.
