I stayed here near the end of my round the world trip with my boyfriend. We're not golfers, but we really enjoyed ourselves and were delighted we picked this spot. The hotel is lovely and cozy with gorgeous views of the sea. The town of Ballybunion is lovely as well - there was a great music festival on while we were there. The hotel is just around the corner from the main strip so its central but has some privacy. The owners were great and looked after us like we were family. The food was really top notch (amazing seafood!) and the bar is cozy and authentic - with all the golf tags from golfers who have stayed there over the years. And there were some great irish sing-song sessions in the evenings! All in all, a great little gem of a place by the sea.
