Stayed here just before Christmas. Price was excellent, found good price online, cant fault it that way. Location wise, right in the middle of the main street, couldnt get better.

On arrival, the girl in the bar was really friendly as was the receptionist, we were directed to our room, it was a tad dated and dark but that wouldnt bother me. It was clean and tidy which was good. Nice powerful shower.

So we readied ourselves and headed out to see the town. After landing back it was only 12.30? all doors were locked, the main door and the bar door. We knocked, we rang the door bell, we knocked on the window, we could not get into the place. Eventually after 10-15 minutes of almost breaking the window the porter came out, As the room was in my wife's name and I wasnt on the list he initially wasnt going to let me in, I was basically interrogated. So we eventually got to bed.

After a few hours of taxi's beeping and night clubs kicking out (the joys of a main street view room) I got to sleep, only to be reawoken at 5am by what I initially thought was a space ship, loud noises, loud sucking noise and orange flashing lights lighting up the dark room. After looking out I discovered it was the street cleaner. Phew!

This was preceeded by Lorries beeping, delivery men shouting in the streets and then the busy traffic. All in all, this would better suit a group of Hens or Stags, not really a nice quiet get away with the Mrs. Hotel was fine apart from the night staff. I would recommend it.

I stayed in this hotel last weekend with a group of friends.
The staff in reception were very polite and helpful.
The room was clean and although it was very cold at first, it did heat up after a little while.
The shower was very powerful but the floor got very wet from using the shower as the curtain could not contain it.
There was a little damage to the room door as if somone had kicked it open at some stage, but it still locked properly.
The bar downstairs is pretty good, and has a pool table and large screen for watching football on. There is a dart board, but there were no darts to play with.
Breakfast was a little dissappointing as it was quite cold, and I also heard other customers saying the same thing.
Overall I found that the hotel was located brilliantly in Letterkenny, and was fine for a lads night out and would be ideal for stag or hen parties, but I won't be booking a romantic getaway with my wife there.

Stayed in the hotel for on night with my sister on the 11/11/11. For a hotel in the middle of letterkenny you can not fault it on its prices, you couldn't get better anywhere else. Really friendly reception staff on arrival and the girl in the bar was very nice and chatting away with us. Room was great, pretty spacious and clean. No problems at all with the hotel, will defiantly stay again as the prices are quite reasonable.

Stayed here in early October for 3 nights - midweek. Great Hotel - very friendly staff. Perfect location on the main street.
