“A great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

This B&B is probably the best I have stayed in – ever! The room (for three, with two double beds and a single) was huge and had lovely views over the countryside. The bathroom was clean and roomy, with a bath and a shower.

The hosts were lovely – approachable and knowledgeable about the local area and attractions. As we were there at the end of the summer season, attraction opening may have been an issue. Conor also entertained us with some traditional songs and music.

And as for the breakfast, well, words fail me. It was the best, most amazing B&B/hotel breakfast I have ever had. The choice was great, quality fantastic and the portion size was massive. The whole group were very well satisfied.

Has already been recommended by me and will be my base for any return visit to the area.

Thanks

“Wonderful place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011

Stayed here the weekend of 21st+ 22nd October with a group of friends. Huge rooms - we were in a triple room, 2 double beds and a single, with a decent sized bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Breakfasts were cooked to order, and beyond huge (didn't eat again till the evening). Conor provided traditional music session on our first night which was entertaining.

Cappabhaile is in a great location in The Burren - stunning scenery. Its about a mile outside Ballyvaughan so plan ahead if you want to go out for a drink in Ballyvaughan in the evening. Conor provided some great recommendations for places to visit, and routes to follow.

Would definitely stay again if we are in the West of Ireland

“Great touring base”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Conor and his wife made us both very welcome, the room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was excellent. conor went out of his way in helping me trace my great grand parents
and lending me maps of the local area. He and is friend also entertained the guests with traditional Irish music. I shall definately stay there again.

Room Tip: Our rear view room had outstanding views of the Burren

“Best Bet in Ballyvaughan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

Once again we returned to Conor Fahy's lovely B&B. Conor provided us with a great overview of the Burren and joined his son, Rory for some traditional Irish music later that evening. Margaret, his wife , provides a superior Irish breakfast that will satisfy you until dinner time. Don't miss this location during your tour of Ireland. Truly, memorable

Room Tip: Back of the house with views of the fields and mountains

“Incredible Spot in Ireland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

The Cappabhaile House is lovely. The rooms large and clean, the hosts very warm and accomodating. Conor and his brother even gave us an impromptu concert of Irish music on banjo and accordion. The location was breathtaking and a great spot for exploring the Burren. Conor even helped us with a geneology search. Located just outside Ballyvaughan which had great food and drink. We were very happy with our selection.

The Burren is a lovely area to visit and this is the perfect place to start.
