I can't say enough good things about this place. We had a fantastic stay here - the staff was awesome and accommodating, the restaurant was great, the bar was great and the band we saw while we were there was incredible. It was such a fun time and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Ballyvaughn.
The rooms were tidy and fine for our quick 2 day stay.

Booked the Hylands for a group of friends to celebrate a 40th 2 weeks ago. We booked a package of 2 nights and 1 evening meal. Was quite dubious of what the meal would be like under the "package" was expecting supplements etc. The meal/ service was 1st class I had the steak (no extra price) excellent along with all the mains, starters and deserts. The jewl in the crown was the Tracy the receptionist was was more than helpful with everything all weekend. A friend of mine left an expensive chain behind her she called the hotel on Monday and they delivered the chain to her work place the following day. In summary great value for money and an excellent stay highly recommended..

My husband and I stayed here one night while enjoying a self-guided driving tour of Ireland. It was a last-minute decision, and we were happy to have stayed there.

The room was a nice size and clean. The breakfast that was included was fine.

What we were truly impressed with though was at dinner the main dish of mussels that we ordered to share, as we weren't that hungry. When ordering a mussels dish in America, we are used to about 20 or so mussels on a dish that are quite nice. However, this POT of fresh, succulent mussels was amazing!!! It makes my mouth water just thinking about it! A definite must when eating there!!!

We stayed for one night on a wet June day. The hotel meet our needs in every way. A comfortable room, a few quiet drinks in the bar abefore a suprisingly tasty meal in the bar and an adequate breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient. Hyland's exceeded our expectations and for the price of a nights stay, I don't think you can go wrong. As Clare is my favourite county and Ballyvaughan one of my favourite villages; I've a strong feeling we'll be looking for a room in Hyland's before long!
