“Great place, charming location”

The first review is completely wrong- it is not shabby in the slightest- it has all the charm of a country house...ballinadee is a sleepy village, with a great local pub, and the place is very well situated. the ground on the whole are well kept, though there appears to be some construction going on which makes the place look a little messy- ignoring this, the outside is beatiful, the inside is neat and well kept. the bathroom are huge and the beds very comfortable...breakfast was lovely, and the owners are charming...what more could you ask for?

“Wouldn't stay here, wouldn't stay in Cobh”

We booked this b and b because it offered family rooms with a double and two twins. Upon arrival we were very put-off by the shabby appearance, it was actually depressing. The rooms were clean, but the beds were HORRIBLE, with springs popping from our son's bed. Breakfast was good.

Overall, I wouldn't stay at this b and b again, and we would probably stay in Kinsale instead. The Foto Wild Animal park is WELL worth the visit to Cobh (we have kids), and the heart of Cobh is great, but only needs one day to cover it all.

On initial arrival I was a little concerned that this B&B was a little shabby but this changed as soon as I saw the inside of the place. The rooms were very comfortable and large enough to have a double and a single bed. The bathroom was clean and modern and fitted with a bath. Cobh was only a 15 minute walk away and although there is one hill to climb it was a lot easier to do with a couple of Murphys in the bloodstream! Breakfast was freshly cooked and easy to digest! Very impressive place if you dont want to stay in town
