“nice an quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2011

A nice place to stay on the south cost. Not fare from the water and with a beautiful sorounding.
We could walk into town to get some shopping (avoiding the main street).
The hostel was clean and the people there very friendly and always helpfull.

You can meet people in the outside sitting area.

We haven´t used the offered activities so I can´t say anything to that but it looked very good , we just hadn´t got the time

Thank You

“FANTASTIC, for the boy's and I, we will return!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 April 2011

I......loved this place very charming............. we had great fun, I loved this holiday as the boy's not once were bored and they were wrecked from the activities during the day.... I never once worried about them as they were very safe and it was much better than any hotel as they had so much freedom they ate when they wanted and they could watch t.v. or could kick a ball outside or hurling.............. it's what every child needs FREEDOM ......

“Fantastic Time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

We took a group of young people some with disabilities, we had the best time, the staff were fabulous, the activities fantastic and such a variety, the rooms were comfortable food delicious our Young People had the time of their lives and all said they would go again and how much they miss it.
Totally worthwhile. Whilst there go to the Ewe Sculpture Park and the Sea Safari at Baltimore.

“Russagh Mill is the Craic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2010

The Craic (Irish expression for fun or entertaining) is good description of my experience at the Russagh Mill hostel. The staff were affable, pleasant, accommodating and good conversationalists (which is important when traveling solo as I was). The large old mill has been wonderfully converted to high level hostel status and offers plenty of room for travelers to cook, lounge around quietly or commune with other travelers or staff. There was opportunity to shares pints of beer and chat though in areas that don't affect the rest of those who wish to catch an early nights rest (thanks to the large space and stone walls). They also run a variety of outdoor programs to enjoy the opportunities on land or sea in the surrounding area. A top notch operation and I stayed in many hostels over my 6 weeks biking around the country. This one is at the top of the charts.
