Glebe House is a wonderful B&B-we stayed there in May of 2005 and again in April of 2006. The owner, Mrs. Heaphy, is a gracious hostess and made us feel very much at home. The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms very comfortable, all in a charming "manor house" that feels just like the lovely home you wish belonged to your family! Don't miss a stay at the Glebe House. It's a grand way to experience the warmth and relaxation of the Irish countryside.

  • Tips/Secrets — This Shannon River area of North Kerry has many interesting things to do. Daytrips can be made to the tourist destinations of western Ireland -Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Mohr (take the Tarbert-Kilmer ferry and enjoy the lovely drive north.) Glebe House is an ideal central location to explore the west coast, while being able to return every day to the comfort of your B&B every evening. Don't miss Carriagafoyle Castle in Ballylongford (sensitively restored), the arts, sights, and restaurants in Listowel, dinner at the Lanterns in Tarbert, or any of the sights on the easy drive to or from Shannon Airport. The Glebe House would be a great place to start, finish, or use as a base for your trip to Ireland. Enjoy!

Great House..fantastic dining room and great bedrooms ...try to get one of the two front front rooms upstairs if you can.
