I was very happy with everything at the Shannon Court Hotel. It's very close to the airport and the local bus runs right from the airport to the front of the hotel and it's only 2€ for the trip. It's also very convenient to Bunratty Castle/Folk Park, again, using the same bus system. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a quiet hotel, with everything in good running order. There's both a tavern and a great Chinese restaurant on property. Because the bus runs so frequently, I was able to get to the Cliffs Of Moher very easily and for very little money. You can't do better than this hotel when you're looking for something reasonably priced. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

I stayed in this hotel on the 26th of December while flying out to London for 3 days. The welcome at the reception was warm and friendly. Both Brian and Sharon were very helpful throughout my stay. The room was a good decent standard and was immaculately clean. I left my car there for the 3 days for free and was going to take a taxi but the bus for the airport arrives just outside the hotel.
This hotel is not the Ritz but if you want a value clean friendly hotel convenient to the airport this is the job.

This hotel is OK for an overnight stay before or after flights from Shannon airport - access for early morning flights from nearby Limerick is only possible by expensive taxi of about 50 euro or more, so the single room cost of less than 40 euro paid for itself. You would probably also benefit froma rental car to access it as it is more than a km from the airport - definitely NOT a walking option, though taxis would do. It is quite a new looking hotel from the outside, on a main road with nothing much else nearby, so eating at the hotel is about the only option. I had bar food which was passable of its type. Free wi-fi - it seems ironic that many cheap and mid-price hotels are now offering this while some of the expensive ones still charge for it.

The hotel was booked a week before travel and despite not including breakfast, was excellent value. Breakfast was only €6.50 extra and consisted of a full Irish cooked breakfast as well as a small selection of cereal. The shower had good pressure and temperature and the hotel had free Wifi. Reception was helpful with booking taxis and the onsite pub was pleasant.

Overall, great value for money.
