We stayed at the Oak wood arms hotel in January 2011, Our initial reaction was the quirky decor which we loved it gave a real Irish feel, All the staff were lovely especially the waitress in the restaurant who did everything to make our stay one to remember including all three evenings that we ate in the restaurant seating us infront of the huge burning log fire. The restaurant has an adjoining door to the bar area which was great to take our drinks through after dinner especially when my boyfriends football team was playing! The only downfall was the bed, it was quite small and very hard and lumpy, as well as most of the pillows but this was not a huge issue as we had such a great time, talking to the Irish locals in the bar and been given the best service we've ever experienced. We will definitely be returning. So thank you for making our trip to Ireland one to remember.
