What a wonderful find. We stayed October 6th and loved it. It was our first stay on a 10 day trip and I wanted to be out on the Coast. It did not disappoint. Our room was large, warm and very comfortable. The living area has wonderful views of the coast and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and the property is just wonderful. You can walk to the ocean and around some beautiful cliffs. I hope to return soon.

My American friends and I spent 2 nights at the Dolphin Beach House recently and enjoyed it very much. We loved the peaceful location right by the ocean and the atmosphere of the house. Our rooms were both clean and comfortable with wooden floors and a general feeling of tranquillity. The breakfasts were outstanding and our hosts Clodagh and Darragh were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. A very special place to get away from it all.

i loved the location, the grounds so close to the ocean, the owner's helpfulness and kindness, the excellent breakfasts, the outstanding dinner. i would have prefered a different room. i opted for an ocean view room. my room was one of two rooms upstairs that had what i thought was a small window looking at the ocean. the room was an attic type room. some might describe it as cozy. it felt claustrophic to me. the bathroom was beautiful, very well done and very clean. the carpet in the room needs to be replaced. it is stained and looked dirty. i got to see some of the rooms on the ground floor. they have hardwood floors and great views of the ocean.i hope to return to dolphin beach house, and will request the cove room.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Beach House. The location was so beautiful as were the facfilities and our room. We stayed in the Cove Room which had a patio, high ceilings, comfortable bed, etc. Breakfasts were excellent and we had one very nice dinner there as well. I cannot say enough in praise about the Dophin Beach House and it has my highest recommendations. Finally, I enjoyed Clifden and County Galway enormously as well.
