“Authentic, genuine and a great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Stayed for two nights. Got a junior suite on the ground floor. Nice bar and a restaurant serving good local dishes. The room was clean with beautiful furniture, comfortable beds and a 37" (or possibly 40") LCD TV including Sky News and BBC2 from the UK. Multiple rooms with fireplaces available for free for social events. Great breakfast included in room rate. Altogether a very good stay in a nice and welcoming environment.

A wonderful hotel run by the most pleasant and helpful staff that I have ever encountered. Excellent food, both at breakfast and dinner. Beautiflly appointed rooms, with modern spacious bathrooms. Can not fault it in any way.

“A superb family celebration at the Dunraven Arms Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Our family celebrated my Father's 90th birthday with a private dinner for 50 at the Dunraven Arms Hotel on Friday last. The food, service and helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was first class - possibly the best I have experienced in Ireland in recent years. We would never consider an alternative venue for these occasions as our needs and expectations are always exceeded with grace and ease.

“Lovely venue for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

We had lunch here recently on a Sunday. It was such a lovely experience, the service is very good without being OTT. I had a beautiful liver parfait for starter and the renowned Dunraven beef for main. they were both fantastic. This is a really nice spot for a bit of a spoiling on a Sunday afternoon. The dining room was full for lunch in the middle of January which says it all really. We will be returning soon!!

“A great place to stay in the Adare area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

My husband and I stayed for one night over the Christmas holidays for a family event in the hotel. We arrived particularly early from our redeye and the hotel was very accommodating and allowed us to check in at 7am. We ate a delicious breakfast from the buffet that contained many locally produced goods. Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was great. Our room was very large with a queen bed and a double in the room along with a full size couch. It was one of the biggest rooms I have ever stayed in. A minor complaint was the excessive heat that we did not appear to be able to control despite having a thermostat in the room. The bathroom was large but the toilet itself was so close to the wall at one side that you would hit your elbow sitting down. A strange configuration given the excessive space overall in the room and bathroom but not a deal breaker. I would recommend this hotel for nice relaxing breaks. The staff are helpful, friendly and gracious. For the price I doubt you can do better in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the ground floor - close to everything and very large
