Staying here brought me back in time to the homey feeling of grandma's house. The rooms are decorated with floral duvets and curtains. Mrs. Riordan is a great hostess.
Breakfast was very good.

We were going to a wedding in the Adare Manor, but could not afford to stay there so settled on a cheap B+B in the village. The owners must be in their 80's, although there were other people who made the breakfast in the morning. The decor was chintzy, with a lot of lacy trims, and floral wallpaper etc, you get the idea. The ensuite part of the room was tiny, it was a work of ingenuity how you could get a shower and toilet into such a small space. But it was cheap. The breakfast was OK, you could opt for the full Irish, or if you did not eat meat then overcooked scrambled eggs with hash browns.
