Had a nice room- small, but with a view of the back garden area. Breakfast was wonderful with choices beyond the Irish full breakfast. Staff very helpful with suggestions and making reservations.
Only downside- new pub across the street- a little noisy at night.

We stayed 2 nights in June 2011 and enjoyed the comfortable beds and friendly service. The breakfast was delicious in a great restaurant. Rooms were small but very clean and although located on the main street, we slept well and had no problems with street noise. WE came back for another night in July.

no noise had a good sleep very clean and the staff Mary and Fiona were very helpfull i will be calling again, thank you Tierneysfor making our stay in Kinsale very enjoyable .

Can only advise people to stay away. Guesthouse is over a cafe with an Indian restaurant next door. First night we were in a small room at the back and the smell probably from the kitchens was overpowering, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and you had to turn sideways to get into the en-suite. Next morning we moved to a room at the front, it was bigger but the noise from the night club kept us awake most of the night.
Breakfast in the cafe below was just about alright.
