Lovely setting. Looks out to the bay & ocean from front rooms & view of farmland at rear of home. Our hosts Siobahn (Shivonne) & Nigel were very gracious as they welcomed us with genuine warmth. They have 3 children & run a working farm....200 head of dairy cows & 80,000 chickens, which are kept quite a bit away from the house. Quite a handful for the average inn keeper!!
Great location, only a mile or so from Kinsale Town, Charle Fort, Cobh(Cove-5 min. ferry trip from town).
Breakfast was usually prepared by Nigel who does an excellent job at cooking flavorful homemade breakfast food.
NEGATIVES:
We were there mid-Sept & weather was rather cool. Heat in the house was not on & it was rather chilly...had to ask for extra blankets. Plus because of lack of heat in the room, our clothes from the "misty" weather had no chance of drying.
No shower amenities were offered, so bring your own shampoos & washcloths, which seem to not exist in a lot of the b&b's in Ireland.
CASH ONLY.....bummer when your traveling international.
Room Tip: all the rooms have a view but the main front room has the best...bay view.

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Harbour Hill Farm.
I do feel however I have to address a few of your comments, firstly, we advertise as accepting credit cards/prepaid vouchers, paying by cash is optional and not obligitary.
As we are a four star bed and breakfast all rooms have hand soap, shower gel and shampoo dispensers. On hygiene grounds we do not supply wash-cloths.
In relation to clothes drying I cannot do anything about the weather and clothes getting wet, but bedrooms are for sleeping and not drying clothes as this can make the room very damp.
