stayed here with some friends during our visit to Ireland. Nice location and well appointed bedrooms. Breakfast was good. The hosts were welcoming and gave us some information on the area. Would stay here again.

When we called ahead, we were a bit late and Joan seemed perturbed because she had made plans to leave. We were just a bit late arriving being unsure of traffic and directions. We apologized and things did get better. The facilities were immaculate and everything was good. Sorry to say though, Joan advised us she was considering retiring. Things were better in the morning and she did suggest a few local establishments for dinner. We finished with good feelings about the stay. What a beautiful breakfast solarium.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wondeful B&B, The room was very comfortable and quiet and the food well prepared and generous. Discussions with Joan & Dennis were quite enjoyable, informative and interesting. Their wise advice including directions to other sites and attractions were quite helpful and proved to be most enjoyable. We parked our car and enjoyed walking to Kinsale and close by restaurants. Many rabbits and birds were seen on the grounds/gardens around this B&B.

I stayed at the Waterlands for two nights recently, and had an excellent stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was also excellent. The location is great as well- a quick walk or drive into the town of Kinsale. I would definitely stay here in the future and would recommend the Waterlands for anyone looking for a comfortable and reasonably priced B&B in the southwest of Ireland.
