We stayed one night in the Chart House B&B in Kinsale. Perfect location near everything. They had great wi-fi. We stayed in room 1, the green room. It had a jacuzzi tub that worked well. Beautifully decorated, very comfy bed (we almost overslept). We also appreciated having options for breakfast - even if it meant deciding early. The porridge was delicious and I enjoyed my scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Something I always keep in mind when staying at a B&B, we are guests in their house. They have a right to set the rules. Especially since the owner is generally the cook, housekeeping and tourism office. If I'm not up for the adventure, I stay at a chain. This was a nice one with nice people.

We artrived at the last minute, and the B&B had a room, even coming down on the price a bit. Billy was helpful with suggestions and directions. He even ensured that we had a parking space on the street, right in front of the door. The room was just fine, though not particluarly memorable. The B&B itself was very organized and clear on its expectations, which were posted throughout the house. Internet was a plus.

Everything was very good indeed. Some reviewers seem to have found reasons to point out faults. In my opinion this is out of context. Everything was very clean and tidy. The owners were friendly and welcoming and the breafast was wonderful! Price was OK for what was received.
