I actually stayed in this B&B prior to 2009.
This is a working farm, the owners have chores to do, however, kids can help with the eggs - very nice. The breakfast is really good, and served in a very nice room. The grounds are quiet, the dogs friendly, and there was a tree swing our kids enjoyed. The lounge is nicely decorated. Our adjoing rooms met our needs but were a little on the cramped side. The beach is not easy to access, it is a walk down the lane and across a typically narrow Irish road. Then you have to find a good spot to camber down the bank. The beach near here is only accessible when the tide is out, so it's not a typical sand beach, but if you are experienced tide flat folks then you're fine. Not sure what I expected after reading the TripAdvisor reviews prior to our stay, but in hindsight I think the price was too high.
If you like quiet and near solitude then you'll like it. The owners are nice and helpful, just not overly engaging since they are busy with family and farm.
