Our family of 6 occupied 3 rooms in Mary O'Neill's B&B last week & enjoyed it thoroughly! Contrary to past reviews, it was clean & very well-kept. Mary has someone who helps her clean, though she cooked our delicious Irish breakfast herself. Sea Gull House is charming, a true home with photos & momentos of the O'Neill family life. It was the best location of any B&B we stayed in in Ireland--just up the hill (not so steep) from the Tap Tavern, worth a visit for a pint or glass of wine! We had one of our most memorable dinners at Jim Edwards restaurant, which Mary recommended--delicious seafood.
Yes, the rooms were a bit on the small side, but bathrooms were modern & beds comfortable--well worth a bit of the Irish life! This delightful elder Irish lady will stay in your heart & memory :)
