“Cant think of anywhere better to stay and eat in Kinsale”

I cant imagine staying anywhere else in Kinsale other than Jim Edwards. a perfect mix of freindly Irish hospitality, great food and drink, good clean rooms, Excellent staff and a perfect position in the heart of Kinsale, but just off the main street.

We stayed ther for the Kinsale Food Festival and it was just perfect in every way.

We were made to feel so welcome, the bar was so freindly and full every night with great characters. Breakfast was top class every day. A great selection of food to choose from, and we could only manage the full breakfast on the first day !!

I would definately recommend Jim Edwards to anybody thinking of staying in Kinsale or the sourounding area and will definately Be back. 10 out of 10 Ffrom me.

“Madhatters AND Jim Edwards ... excellent!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

We enjoyed everything about Kinsale and Jim Edwards. Being in the middle of town all was accessible, the bars, the History and great walks. All the staff and locals were friendly and helpful, rooms very good value and the food was very wonderful indeed, especially the blackberries at breakfast. We shall return in our Motorhome, although we shall still spend
a night at Jim Edwards.

“Fantastic Atmosphere, Food, Venue, restaurant.”

We have just arrived back from Kinsale and stayed at Jim Edwards, a family run establishment with the family always around - what a place!! Rooms clean, staff friendly, helpful and knowledgable both in the bar and the restaurant. The menu is great with a huge variety of choice. The breakfast was second to none with fresh fruit, porridge, fish and anything else you could ever wish for to start your day. Very central to everything in Kinsale - you cannot go wrong booking into this hotel and restaurant. Well done the Edwards family! :-)

“Fantastic weekend”

The Kinsale Food Festival is an incredible experience, a weekend of eating and drinking with the unbelievable Mad Hatters Tea Party on saturday. We stayed at Jim Edwards a most hospitable pub and restaurant with friendly staff and scrumptious food. It is ideally placed in the centre of this little town and adjacent to the harbour. If you are travelling through southern Ireland call in for a few days of genuine hospitality at Jim Edwards, Kinsale. You wont be disappointed.
