I booked this B&B based on reviews and they were accurate about the views of the harbour from the room but finding this place was a nightmare. To find this B&B, we had to negotiate a very narrow streets and this didn't add to our overall experience. The gentleman who greeted us really didn't seem to care much whether we were there or not. He gave us our key and left. He also said that because we didn't pay extra for breakfast, we would not get any. Very unusual for a B&B.

The room was plenty spacious, well appointed and clean.

Regretfully we could only stay for one night before sailing from Rosslare to France but what memories we had to take with us! Our very comfortable bedroom with balcony overlooking the harbour was first class.
We had dinner in the Spinacker Restaurant next door to Harbour Lodge and both of us choose fresh local fish - mussels then black sole absolutely beatiful and freshly caught.
Our breakfast was served in the spacious conservatory dining room overlooking the harbour. Smoked kippers were delicious as was the freshly squeezed orange juice.
Great value for money and a "must come back"

We hated leaving the Harbour Lodge in Kinsale. It was like staying at my grandmothers house. things were not new but everything was clean, the bed was extra comfortable and the staff was accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Kinsale which is a sweet charming village.

The Harbour Lodge is located a short 10 min walk from kinsale town. When we got there our room was upgraded since the Lodge was not full. The room was stunning with a balcony over the harbour & a view of all the boats.It was spotlessly clean but the tv only had 2 stations. There is a cozy pub next door with a bar garden and several restaurant options near-by.
