checked in for one night. The manager was really friendly and full of local knowledge, would bend over backwards to help you. We stayed in the U2 room. Nice and cosy and perfect for what we paid for. Great location within a few minutes walk to main street. If your on a budget and need a basic room for a good rate, this is for you.

Stayed here with the boyfriend and I couldn't speak more highly of the place. We stayed in the John Lennon room - very clean and cosy - ensuite bathroom was spotless with a piping hot electric shower. Te room has a radiator which you could turn on if you got cold. The kitchen is clean, fitted with all necessary utensils and the free breakfast is a definite plus!

The staff made the place, they were absolutely fantastic. They were so friendly and really made us feel at home. They also advised us where to go, organised discounted surf lessons and were more that happy to help us out with anything and everything. The boyfriend stayed on a few days longer he liked it so much and got a great deal for him a 3 friends.

For less that 20quid a night (15 in a dorm), you really can't do better than the Rock Hostel. I'll be back!

Homefield Rock Hostel is ideally situated in Bundoran, minutes from center of town and the each and just accross the road from the Donegal adventure center. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were clean and the kitchen had everything you could need. It has a great relaxed atmosphere with gig and band posters all over the walls.
Highly recommend it for a stay in this lovely activity filled town !

Stayed here before, but place has been redecorated, and what an improvement. I stayed here before because it was so close to surf, pubs and restaurants, and it was inexpensive, but now they have refurbished everything and its definitly best value place in Bundoran. Friendly staff will point you in direction of what's on, where to go and what the surf is doing. Rock music theme is cool and restaurant nect door super handy.
