Stayed for fri and sat nite on mid oct. Great location just beside the train and bus station and minutes walk to town centre which was handy as we didn't have the car. Room was lovely and great value for money with a tasty breakfast freshly cooked. Really enjoyed our stay and the food in the bar was top class. Can't recommend this hotel enough. We will be back.

We booked this hotel at very short notice and stayed longer than we intended due to the amazing hospitality and welcome we received from the staff. The hotel is like home from home and its in a great location; walking distance from the centre of town and a great bar/restuarant called Paddy Jordan's where the music, food and craic was fantastic. The Courthouse is excellent value for money and we have already planned to return with friends in August as we had such a great trip.

just returned from a work trip in ballina.myself and 2 colleagues stayed in the courthouse hotel.we:ve been to ballina regularly but never stayed here before.we sure as hell will be back,what a little gem.not the ritz carlton by any accounts but a fine family run establishment.we got a good rate of e45 each.rooms were adequate,and the bar was superb with great food and friendly service.make sure to try the chowder or duck.they also serve a great breakfast .will definately return on our next visit to ballina.

I stayed in this hotel for one night and it was enough.
The good first
I can not fault the staff or the food, both were excellent and very very helpful they treated us like family.
The Hotel was cheap and we got a good breakfast in the morning included in the price.

The room we were in was dirty and I could smell the dust and see the damp everywhere.
I wasn't even sure if hte bedding was clean although I assume it was there seemed to be a stain at the bottom of the sheet on the bed my son was sleeping in.

The bathroom dirty and the toilet seat was sliding off the toilet when we sat on it and the toilet itself seem to be lifting off the floor. Our shower had no shower curtain/door so everything got soaked . The room was also so cold. My son and I were freezing cold all night.

This hotel would need to revamp all it's room before I would stay there again. It has great potential.
