The hotel has obviously recently completed painting/varnishing and the smell was overpowering. We had to ask for a different room because the first room was unbearably fumey. Little did we know that the second room, being on the first floor, would be so noisy. I don't know if it was a special event or it's always like this on a Friday night but we were kept awake by very loud music until 3am - and not traditional Irish music! Also, the room hadn't been heated and barely warmed up when we were in it (admittedly, it was a very cold couple of days). Like other people have said, the carpets were very stained but I always take slippers anyway so it was no problem. On the plus side, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Also, both the initial and final rooms were a good size.

I stayed at this delightful hotel in Dingle during early January with a friend. Everything from the tasteful high standard of accommodation to the superb Irish breakfast & friendly staff were spot on. We are both experienced travellers & I myself work as airline crew so have stayed in some high quality hotels around the world. I would have no hestitation in recommending this excellent establishment...Well done to the great team at the Dingle Bay Hotel!

stayed here during the summer of 2011, a little gem of a hotel with the friendliest of staff, reception , bar, and rooms were all tasteful modern and warm. the staff were very accommodating and talkative and welcoming.
I would recommend the Dingle Bay Hotel for any stay in dingle, it is right on the waterfront and is a very short stroll to all dingle has to offer.

Hotel is right in town, so it's very close to everything. Rooms are OK -- not the greatest place we stayed while in Ireland, but it's pretty standard as far as hotels go. The staff were very friendly, and gave us great advice for how to spend our day there. Breakfast was good too.
