So it's not 4 star luxury but it doesn't claim to be. I stayed here with my husband last weekend and it was ok. We used a special offer voucher and it was good value. I agree with other reviewers about how tired the place is but we found the staff to be friendly and overall we got what we paid for. The bedroom was large and the bathroom was not bad, good powerful shower but bring all your own toiletries as there are no extras, just a soap pump and mini soap bars. The bed was comfortable enough, but the duvet was thin and flat as were the pillows. We only ate here at breakfast and the first morning it was a total disaster. It was very busy (probably lots of people using the weekend break offer) but there was absolutely no system for managing the people coming in for breakfast. We selected a table, went to the buffet for cereal, juice etc and sat down to eat. After about 20 minutes nobody had come near us to take our breakfast order and we noticed the couple beside us getting agitated also. It turned out they had been waiting for half an hour. Just then a family of 4 arrived and no sooner were they seated when the waiter came to take their order. I approached the waiter and told him that we were waiting a long time as were the couple beside us. He apologised and came shortly after to take our orders. In fairness to the staff, they were totally run off their feet but as I said there seems to be NO system whatsoever at breakfast. The 2nd morning was much better, quick service and the food was also good, no complaints at all. Location wise, if you are looking for a base to explore the Dingle peninsula then this is a good base, however if you like to be in around the buzz of the town then I suggest staying in Dingle itself. I know we will stay in town the next time.
