I visited Dingle with my wife and mother-in-law in the fall and stayed at the Pax Guest House. We drove in late that night because we flew into Shannon. It was hard to tell too much about the surroundings because it was nearly midnight by the time we pulled in, but John was up quietly waiting for us, not even the slightest bit put off by our late arrival. He showed us to our large, comfortable room, and we all slept soundly. There were several other guests, but we didn't hear any of them. When we woke, we stepped out into the breakfast lounge to see the most breathtaking view stretching out around us. Words do not well describe the beauty of the landscape, and all three of us would have been content just sitting comfortably on the sitting room couch, relaxing the day away and soaking in the rolling Irish countryside. The breakfast was large and delicious, and John took the time to walk us through every little nook and cranny of the drive around Dingle. It was the highlight of our trip for sure, and on top of it, it was the least expensive of the 3 incredible B&Bs we visited. If I have one regret, it's that I wasn't able to stay a second night!
