“great place”

While in Ireland, we purposely left 4 nights with no set reservations. This is one of the places we ended up by a random pick. I was very pleased with this place. The inn overlooks the dingle bay and is a short drive into the town itself. The b and b was clean and offered use of internet if you needed it. Our room was super cute. I really liked the decoration in it. We had some small issue with flushing the toilet as the handle wanted to stick and then the toilet just ran forever, but overall this was not that big of a deal. Also to note, we worked with the innkeeper for a price break of 10 euro. and he gave it to us by just giving us the continental breakfast instead of the big breakfast. Continental breakfast included cereal, juice, tea/coffee, and toast/brownbread. This was plenty for us. After eating Irish breakfast for about 5 days in a row, one day with just cereal and toast was great. Innkeepers were friendly. I enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone traveling in this area.

“Don't look any further”

We stayed here for 2 nights and would highly recommend it. The house is just outside the town but this means it is away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre (which can get quite busy in high season) and it's still only 10 minutes to walk in. It also means you get a nice view of the town. Blandina is a very warm host and chatted away to us each morning at breakfast. Our room, and every other part of the house, was spotless and we had a single and double bed in the room, as well as a generous ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was more varied than you would normally expect, so apart from the standard 'full irish' you could also have a very large selection of fruit, or a toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich, or smoked salmon and scrambled egg. We tried all of these 3 and they were all delicious.
Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and I expect Clonmara will move towards the top of the ratings once the number of reviews increases.

“Warm Friendly Family Makes you feel at home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2010

Michael and Blandina O'Connor manage a spotless, family friendly B&B just outside of Dingle Town and next to Milltown House. (I believe Blandina's father is the current or former owner). My son and I spent only one night (wished we could have stayed longer) yet immediately bonded with our hosts, especially Michael who shared our passion for cycling. (We had just completed a six day cycling tour of Connemara). Our hosts were very helpful recommending good restaurants, music shops, and points of interest. Michael even gave us the name of a good cycling shop in Tralee. I would recommend this B&B also for its quiet, relaxing environment.

“Fantastic, relaxing and friendly stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 May 2010

I just had to comment on this particular Bed and Breakfast after reading the comments from the previous reviewer. Firstly, I checked with the owners and the B&B is not even open in January and porridge is not served - so obviously this 'none of your business' person is lying and never stayed in Clonmara. As with all the other comments, I had a great visit and will be back.

“Just an Excellent B&B”

Stayed there in the long August Bank Holiday gone. Cant say enough about Cloonmara and the owners, Blandina & Michael. They run a quality b&b, where every need is taken care of to the highest degree. We arrived greeted by both Michael and Blandina (& their friendly family dog) and were shown to our room. Very cosy but still ample space and fully furnished with all the necessarys. The ginger biscuits were of particular enjoyment! The house is located less than 5 mins walk from the main town of Dingle with scenic views of the bay and town itself. The breakfast is real gem of Cloonmara with a wide variety on offer for all taste. Enough cannot be said for this place. Other b&bs in the area simply pale in comparison. The only downside was having to leave.
