Having made the decsion to get married in Ireland (my wife is Irish) but living in Australia it was a bit of a worry picking a hotel for a wedding reception and guest accommodation without first visiting the hotel !!!

The Brook Lane Hotel is in a fantastic location and a great find. The food and the reception was just amazing. Many guests (who had travelled from Australia, UK, France, Germany and of course Ireland) commented that it was the best food that they had received at a wedding reception and to be honest l could not disagree with them. Just excellent !!!!

The rooms in the hotel are of a very high standard and are well looked after. The staff are most attentaive to your needs. In fact at one stage l saw the owner of the hotel helping the waiting staff delivery food and pouring the wedding guests drinks etc.

Highly recommneded !!!

Stayed in the hotel over the Holiday Period- Hotel is nice, rooms clean,
is restaurant is good.
Hotel is located just a short walk (4/5 minutes) from Kenmare. Staff are friendly and they have an airing room which is great for hikers.

Just passed through on a quick trip. Staff were very helpful and the rooms were nice, big and spotless. Breakfast was quite good.

Excellent meal in restaurant. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had and home made cakes and tea just before hit the road.
Only one minor point - would be nice to have tea making facilities in the room.
