“Great Location, friendly owner and fantastic breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

The location was very good, little tricky to find, but only a very quick stroll into the middle of town. Having just cycled there Margaret gave us fantastic coffee and cookies, greatly appreciated!

The rooms were nice and simple, no complaints (no TV but not an issue for us anyway). But the breakfast in the morning was probably the best I've had in a long time, everyone was still talking about it at the end of the week.

“Lovely place, beautiful garden, convenient location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2011

Beautiful, sunny guest house on a quiet tree-lined lane, but just a few minutes walk from the town center. Modern, uniquely decorated, immaculately clean, convenient location, gorgeous garden, nice patio with lovely view, delicious breakfast. Margaret was very helpful with directions and advice. Our room was much bigger than most, and the common sitting room is especially nice. This was the only B&B we stayed at in Ireland that had a computer for guests to use (a nice up-to-date one) in addition to wireless. (Note: The only reason I didn't give "sleep quality" an excellent rating is that the bed was rather hard for our tastes. However, we noticed in the guest register that someone else commented on the "comfy bed," so this is just our opinion.) Loved the skylight in the bathroom! Highly recommended.

“a very nice warm comfortable country side style near center town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

we loved the warm atmosphere and the country side and modern decoration. A change from very traditional irish decoration, more younger but still very comfortable.
We loved the way we have been introduced and the friendly discussion.

“Comfortable & warm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 June 2011

Margaret was very hospitable, it was a freezing cold day & she made us a cup of tea on arrival to warm us up !! The room is comfortableand large with a desk in it, which was great. A big bathroom with a skylight, though the shower was a little short. No television in the room, but there is WiFi . Breakfast was lovely, with home-made muesli. A lovely, comfortable place to stay.

“Lovely and very convenient to town”

We were "drop ins"--no reservations, and we were treated great. Refreshments offered on arrival which was much appreciated after a long day. Easy walk to the downtown area and Margaret suggested a couple places for dinner. She was right on the mark as we had an excellent meal. Lovely decorations in the lounge, hall and breakfast areas. And, we were offered use of the computer in the lounge which was very handy to take care of some bills online. Some others complained about no TVs in the rooms. Give me a break---it was our holiday and we had no desire to turn on the boob-tube. Get out and do something! We would not hesitate to stay here again.
