We were originally to stay with some friends in Listowell, but after our late-night arrival they surprised us with a 2-night stay at the Clareville Bed and Breakfast. It was very close to town and easy to get to, but still in a nice country setting. The owners were ready for us as late as it was and helped us check in easily and efficiently. They took our order for breakfast and we fell into bed.
The inn is simple yet quaint, nothing fancy, but perfectly served our needs. The rooms are lovely, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was nice-sized and had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was also simple but served the same fare as the other B-n-B's and was delicious. There was a nice sitting room that we didn't have time to use and the area surrounding the inn is beautiful and nicely landscaped.
The management were very helpful and sweet and eager to please. It's a very quiet area and we hardly ever heard the other guests when we were in our room. Overall, this is a peaceful, wonderful B-n-B and we can't wait to go back!
