“Truly Paradise”

We went to Paradise Resort and truly was an amazing experience. The resort is on Lankanfinolhu island. This the only resort on this island which makes it private. Staff was good. Rooms very clean and large bathrooms. We stayed at Superior Beach bungalow for 3 nights and 1 night at Water Villa and the experience was amazing. We had a great time. The restaurant serves amazing variety of food and tastes awesome. Being Vegans we were delighted with variety of food available to us during breakfast and dinner. For Honeymoon couples, I think this is the perfect place. In my opinion staying beyond 5 nights may get boring as there is nothing much except water sports and walking on the island which you can cover in 2 days. Besides the main restaurant, there is an Italian Bar where twice a week they have live band, a once a week traditional dance show, there is a Japanese Restaurant and a Coffee Shop on the Resort. Perfect place to relax. Suggestion Dec to Feb is the peak season and most expensive period. If I were to travel again, I would travel during October to Nov period as the rates are cheaper compared to Dec to Feb period.

Room Tip: Lot of Superior Bungalows view to the sea is blocked by plants and trees. So ask for Bungalows near...

“Paradise Island: Affordable Luxury..”

I went for my honeymoon to paradise resort. We stayed for 7 days with 3 days in beach bunglow and 3 days in water villa... We got a experience of both the rooms and i must say that it was great ..

the water villa is amazing with great room and view.. One would have a personal front porch which opens in the sea. For travellers on a budget, one can go for beach bunglow..

Food wise the place was okay.. We got indian food in the buffet in all meals .. For people who want to try other options there is a sea food restaurants, italian restaurnt, coffee shop etc.

I would recommend taking the option of buffet breakfast and dinner.. That ways u could try the other places during lunch.. if you are consious of the prices then just blindly go for the all board option since each meal in outside restaurants would be 25-30 USD per person..

Overall, value for money and quite affordable in comparison to other places in Maldives..

“Good value for money in MALDIVES”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

I had been there looking for some escape and peaceful place, i made a best decision to chose MALDIVES a lesser explored place for INDIAN travelers. Initially when i show the cost was surprised as MALDIVES seems to very costly place, nevertheless this hotel is best value for money and affordable luxury. When arrived at airport the counter is conveniently located and they put us in speed boat without much waiting. I had to wait for an hour to get my room and i got annoyed but later i found that since i booked water vila it took time for them to prepare, after that everything went perfect and it was a great vacation for 4 days. Just two of us sharing best moments of our lives, since we were celebrating birthday they provided complementary wine and cake at midnight. A new experience for me to stay in vila located in water , it was biiig room with back yard having bath tub and open sea to the back yard. One can swim in the back yard or relax listening to music in accompany of sea waves. It was pure transparent water and wow its beautiful sea. Water sport here is the safest one i have seen compare to Mauritius, Goa or Pattaya. They take at most care for safety to the level that even in speed boat transfer each person including crew has to wear life jacket. Water sport person named SOLAH was very friendly and he with his all skills taught me how to ride jet ski. All the staff is very courteous and polite taking care of each visitor efficiently. The drinks served are very good and cocktails are exotic! The Italian restaurant here is the best one among the other good dining places over here. Sea food lovers can enjoy variety in specialty sea food restaurant also can order barbeque on the beach with sun set! The perfect place for the couple and at most affordable rates in MALDIVES. One can also opt for beach bungalow to save further. The room and bath rooms are very spacious and with almost all amenities free wi-fi keeps you connected whenever you want to outer world. Photo flight is also experience of life time one has to do must. If you are good swimmer and love water then you have scuba, under water photography, snorkeling, sailing... list is long to do. Th SPA is also very good here and treatment they offer is variety in its own. Over all you get charged and rejuvenated at reasonable cost at this island resort. Yes little bit dis appointment is the room is not maintained properly and curtains/flooring needs renovation it seems. But except that one its wonderful place to be in for relaxation

Room Tip: If you are on budget tour take beach bungalow.. if a couple and can spend some more be in water vila...

“Great hotel, closest to Male (I think)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

we spent 5 days here and we loved it. We got there from India with a package including breakfast and dinner and a normal beach bungalow.
great place overall. Although we wanted to stay in a "ocean villa", but our package price was very good we were taking SCUBA lessons, so didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

>> BTW, we enjoyed our time at the SCUBA school (Dephis Diving Center).

first time in Maldives, but I think is a very good "entrance level" resort for the money.

Room Tip: go for an Ocean/Water Villa.. if you want to pay a little extra. If not, if staying in a beach bun...
