We stayed at the Holland Inn for a family wedding, I travelled with 5 others and we had 3 twin rooms all the rooms basic but very clean, yes they are pre-fab buildings but we all thought this was a welcome change from other places we have stayed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the wedding food was wonderful and service excellent.
Breakfast on Sunday was fab! Loads to eat, helpful staff, not sure why some had problems sitting together at breakfast as the 6 of us travelling sat together, we just moved a few things around and no one complained about it.
We only stayed for one night but wanted to stay again, we will be going back!

thank god im home !!arrived with my husband for a relaxing weekend on the friday night with all my family joining us on the saturday for a wedding .although we had pre paid lots of confusion at reception eventually got key room 29 it was disgusting a snail in bathroom stuck to pelmet so been there a while dirty cutlery in drawer dusty dirty carpet and as duvet cover does not do up saw it was stained and as i looked in a huge live spider had set up home inside the duvet!!
after complaining virtually in tears was given another room slightly better ,however didnt sleep all night as we had another 6 rooms booked for the saturday and all worried what they would be like!!
felt rushed at wedding hadnt time for us all to get a welcome drink and we were rushed in and told too sit down not sure why as top table finished eating and lots of guests hadnt even got theirsas only 3 staff with over 40 eating !!
on arriving for breakfast they refused too make a table for 5 of us too eat together so split us up too fill empty seats !!As i said what a total waste of money and so glad too be out of there but if you do try it book rooms 7,8,or9 which look amazing in decor yet same price as the spiders room wouldnt trust their cleaned though!!

We booked this B&B spontaneously when driving down to Cornwall over the Easter weekend.
If you expect a cosy, homely B&B you may be disappointed. The rooms are in outbuildings which look like a small, poor housing estate. I think they are trying to make it look a bit smarter as one of the rooms had a mock up timber facade on one of the buildings, covering up the pebble dash which looked quite nice.
The inside was fine. The room looked like it had recently been wallpapered and carpeted. Sheets were clean, the bathroom had a separate WC and was clean. I noticed the bin hadn't been completely emptied, but didn't look close enough to check what they had left...
The local information in the room was quite dated (2000).
We had the carvery in the restaurant which was ok. The pub/ restaurant could do with a facelift and the outsides look a bit cluttered with various smoking areas, a tiny pond, a childrens play area and a wishing well.
We were after an early night sleep which was hampered by the entertainment that started around 10pm (live music in the bar).
Even though we had an ok night sleep and an ok breakfast I wish we had spend £10 each more to stay somewhere else.

My wife and i stayed at the Holland Inn this week and the staff and service was fantastic ,meals were faultless and the newly refurbished room was excellant , the staff were very polite serving good quality food at a reasonably good price , i found no faults at all and will stay here again without any doubt .
