“A little bit of paradise in our busy lives”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2011

We were made to feel very welcome by Mike and Carol and at home with a fab cooked breakfast and great local knowledge of good places to eat, best places to park in Bath, lovely walks and days out to nearby Lacock. The farm is in a fantastic setting with far reaching views across open farm land and there was a cosy lounge to relax in in the evening.

I would recommend it to everyone. It is a little bit of paradise in our busy lives.

Room Tip: The double room at the top of the house has a great view.

“I absolutely loved staying at Hatt Farm!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

Carol and Mike were wonderful and gracious hosts and I had a wonderful time staying there. Hatt Farm is so beautiful and tranquil and I am very eager to return in 2012! Their breakfasts were fantastic--a great selection, tasty and filling. Lark Rise to Candleford was once filmed here and you can still feel the magic in the air where the Lark Rise sets once stood. Hatt Farm stands in a very beautiful part of the the country--you won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: I stayed in a double occupancy room with an en suite bathroom--it was quite lovely!

“Friendly warm welcome in Wiltshire”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 April 2011

A great nights sleep in a quiet location. Carol & Mike made me feel very welcome at Hatt Farm. This was fine for me to get to work at the Rudloe site but is also it's an excellent gateway to Bath and the surrounding areas. I would recommend Hatt Farm to anyone who wants a good nights sleep followed by an excellent breakfast. Carol has some lovely home made jams and preserves hmmmmm. If you want fancy decore or mdf furniture I suggest you go to live in Ikea. The decore is dated but in keeping with the farm.

“What can I say... Fabulous Stay!”

Well, what can I say about my recent visit to Hatt Farm, only that it I would highly recommend it to anybody who plans a trip to Wiltshire. I had booked to meet up with friends. The Farm House is set back in exquisite surroundings, with glorious views over rolling countryside and is an excellent base for touring. The rooms are homely, comfortable, clean, bright and airy, with their own refreshment facilities. There is also a separate guest lounge where you can relax at your leisure reading the many brochures and leaflets provided on things to do in the area. Even though we didn’t need it whilst we were there, a log fire will keep visitors toasty on cold winters nights. If you are a walker, this area is a walker’s paradise, but there are plenty of other places and things to do in the area. Carol will be only too happy to suggest places of interest to visit.

Every breakfast taste is catered for, with the large cooked breakfast being a must, which will almost certainly set you up for the day. The local pubs in and around the area provide excellent food for evening meals.

Nothing was too much for Carol and Mike, our hosts, who went out of their way, above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the stay was one that would be remembered for a long while to come. It truly is a friendly, welcoming home that you are invited in to and a place I hope to be able to visit again soon.

Room Tip: Close to Bradford-on-Avon, Bath and Lacock.

“Excellent Farm House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 February 2011

It is lovely environment, great breakfast, peaceful and clean. What else we can look for. We stayed there with our friends only one night however, we will definitely go there in the summer for longer. Enjoyed the whole experience.
