I took my girlfriend to Bath for the weekend and decided to stay in the nearby town of Bradford-on-Avon. The building is gorgeous and the bar was lovely with open fires and comfy armchairs.
The service and staff were excellent - I forgot my iPhone charger and was leant one by staff and when I wanted to put some champagne in the fridge I was given an ice bucket and glassed for my room which I thought was very kind.
We stayed in Room 4 which was absolutely fantastic; the bed is incredibly comfy and matches the huge room in size! The bathroom was the showpiece - absolutely amazing with a beautiful view of Bradford-on-Avon and an enormous bath! Heated floors and towel rails made our winter stay very warm and cosy.
The station is 10 minute walk and takes 15 mins to get to the centre of bath. A taxi back costs 15 - 20 pounds so it is a good option when visiting Bath.
The breakfasts provided with the room are delicious and well sized, a very nice way to start your day!
Will be back for sure.
