I love this place. The windmill is perched above the town and there are few better views than the golden sandstone of the town, nestled into the valley. You would love it if you like to be in the centre of Bradford, great views,a home filled with esoteric and diverse materials and a wonderful range of organic cooked to order breakfasts. It probably isn't your thing if you are looking for a more anonymous modern hotel where you can come and go as you please. The parking is a bit of a hassle - the windmill is at the end of a shared laneway & you have to park exactly where you are asked to in order that others can squeeze past. The decor is quirky, but would benefit from an update - not much seems to have changed since it opened in the late 80s. The hostess Priscilla was unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. As I said I love it to bits, but I can see how for many people it would be a reasonably expensive option with probably more than the usual number of rules about what you can and can't do.
