we were obliged to stay as we were at one of the weddings that they cater for significantly. The setting is beautiful,circular drive and lovely garden. I had read some of the reviews and was a bit worried so upgraded our room-up two flights and no lift -if I had been on my own I would or should have enquired if there was a disabled room. The room was spacious and clean with a view of the front gardens. Bathroom a bit tired and flaky paint and scuffed rotten bath panel-Pillows very sad-I do think managers should try sleeping in every room of the hotel they manage and these sort of niggles would not arise. The decor on the top floor was tired-grubby hand prints on fire doors and scuffed wallpaper where suitcases were hauled up and down. I've stayed in many Best Western in the US and always enjoyed the diversity and always found them to be of a good standard. Can't say anything about the food as it was wedding food and therefore not chosen by me-always feel it a miracle that the food for everyone was hot and on the table at weddings. Staff very friendly and efficient.

having read some of the other reviews i did think we might of made a mistake! but definatly not clearly there are too many nasty people out there with nothing better to do that write nasty reviews in an attempt to get free things, this hotel is as you would expect from its location

bradford on avon is a lovely sleepy town with great history lots to do in the day and lovely pubs and tea rooms

this site should be for possitive coments, would love the hotel to have had a pool but cant make it down for not having one

make sure you dont miss the fab food or cossy hotel snug type bar
relax and enjoy that what weekends away are for and this is a great place to spend one!

work trips are offten in dated hotels, but not this one fab room, free wifi, great food staff couldnt do enough.

What a wonderful example of a Country house with modern fittings

My husband and i had the most relaxing stay, hotel was super clean and very well presentenced.
Staff where happy helpful and full of local knowledge.
We will be back (may a girlie break next time for bit of shopping and spa in Bath)
