Stayed for 4 nights in November with surprisingly warm weather.
Arrived a lot earlier than expected but that wasn't a problem for the friendly hostess, Susan.
Room 2 is comfortable, lacking drawer space but everything else was fine. Power shower was great.
Breakfasts went down very well; toast, followed toast followed toast!
The house is only a short walk from 2 pubs, the Bugle and the Phoenix, and the Post Office/shop. Bit of a squeeze for parking.
The Bugle is more Gastro, comfortable, relatively expensive. The Phoenix is more of a typical pub, friendly host, good food, reasonable price.
Twyford is 3 miles from Winchester, convenient for Portsmouth and the New Forest.

Very basic room & facilities.. Breakfast in the room a bit cramped. Hostess very pleasant and helpful. Reminds me of a b&b from the 70's or 80's that was best in class at the time, but has not evolved. .....Must stress it was not a 'bad stay', just rather basic.

The very warm welcome, the helpfulness of Ms. Flemons was outstanding. She reserved a table for us in a nearby restaurant, and was indeed very nice. Breakfast was in the room, that's quite all right and is was delicious. The house is off the main road, so we had a good, quite sleep.
