I have just returned from a long weekend at Dorset House with 14 very close friends both male and female and had an amazing time. The house itself is beautiful, the garden is spacious and well equipped with chairs, tables & bbq etc. Rooms were nicely made up and more than big enough, everything was clean and tidy but by far the best bit was the hosts. They put up with 14 drunk and highly excitable people regressing to childhood without as much as a flicker and for that we thank them - in fairness I think the 20 foot thick walls helped as we were making some serious noise.

If you are looking for somewhere that you can get together with a big bunch of friends, where you are free to enjoy yourselves and where you have everything you need then Dorset House is just the place. Thanks again and if you will have us we will most definitely be back.

The house had adequate bedrooms but the kitchen was tiny and poorly equiped. the owners were on site running a bed breakfast. guests and visitors to the b and b for example laundry services would troop through the house we had rented. guests to the b and b were some times noisy and disturbed us. it was not ideal to rent a house and then share it with the owners. the owner were defensive and un reservite to a complaint.

We stayed two nights and can fully recommend this very old and beutifull house with a lovely garden and facilities like an excellent private home. The owners are very kind people and most helpfull.
