Stayed here in December with some friends. We had a brilliant weekend. The bedrooms are comfortable, could probably do with a little modernisation. But the staff, the food, the ambience, the craic and especially the cooked breakfast was fantastic. Some other 4 and 5 star hotels need to come here to learn how to cook. Will be back in March for one of their special breaks.

i took a large part of my family to the "new years eve" ball at the lodge hotel... what a brillant night we all had...the food was great, the music was good too, although it was more suited to the older generation (not complaining) all in all we all had a wonderful time and looking back on it £36 wasnt a bad price for the night they gave us...many thanks to the staff for a great evening of food and music...like so many people i spoke with when "out for a smoke" i shall return this year and enjoy it all, all over again.

We have just returned from a relaxing week visiting relatives in the Coleraine area. The Lodge was idealy situated for our needs. We booked by phone to stay in the Travelstop and were welcomed by very helpful receptionists. Our room was nice and large and to my wife's surprise contained an iron and ironing board! The bar and waiting staff were all welcoming and helpful, The food was excellent.

First impression wasn't to bad, until I got to my room. Never in my life have I seen bed sheets in such an awful state, grey and ripped in places, no duvet apart from horrible old tacky blanket. Bathroom floor needs proper scrubbing. Food in the restaurant pretty good and very nice and polite young staff members. All together would not stay there again.
