Our 5th visit was just as good as the others - a wonderful welcome from the family; a peaceful, country location; spacious, comfortable rooms; aperitif 'maison' on the terrace followed by very good food and wine during a leisurely dinner accompanied by interesting conversation in English and French. We are already planning our 6th visit.

We had a stopover here on our way home from a holiday in the Alps. There were 4 of us (adults) and we shared the "Hautes Vues" suite which has 2 bedrooms (a double and a twin) and a bathroom. The double room is gorgeous with a lovely ensuite bathroom. The twin room is aimed at kids but has full size single beds and is fine for adults. One thing worth knowing is that you have to go through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom but there is a separate toilet downstairs. Also the bathroom has a bath with shower attachment but no wall mounting or screen and the roof slopes so a stand up shower isn't possible.

Valérie et Didier are very welcoming hosts and really seem to enjoy having people to stay. We had the Tables d'Hotes evening meal which was delicious, with lots of home made / local produce. The continental breakfast was good, with a fine selection of English teas :)

Highly recommended.

Dinner with other guest was also fun for us.
Very good experience for us to stay in such a country side of France.

We had a lovely stay at this house owned by the very friendly Valérie and Didier. The evening meal which we shared with the other guests around a large table was a great example of French home cooking, mostly from their own vegetable garden. The rooms are large, well equipped and very clean. WIFI is available. The house is only 10 mins drive from the route de Champagne (Cotes de Blancs) and the brother of the family produces a fabulous champagne grand cru (at a very reasonable price) which you should enquire about.
