“high standard of room and great food”

I have just come back from a long weekend in Dungannon for a friend's wedding. A crowd of us all stayed in Stangmore. The hotel is conveniently located to the city centre, the proprietors are friendly and the house has a homely atmosphere and it's tastefully decorated, so much so i kept enquiring on the lovely mirrors and pictures dotted everywhere. Our room was spacious with a big bed and the hotel was spotless overall. Breakfast was delicious, selection of fruit & cereals available plus you can order a variety of cooked breakfasts. Excellent food. At £80 a night it's pretty pricey in my book but you haven't got much choice given it's a small town and ireland is expensive. highly recommended accomodation.

“Superb”

On a business trip to NI I was booked in here as it was only a couple of hundred yards from my client.

My client has put a number of people in here over the last few years and although having never stayed there himself, has always heard good things about it.

The Stangmore is a finely appointed Country House hotel run by husband and wife team Anne and Andy Brace.

Andy is the head chef and the food is some of the best I've come across in a long time. Being an ex-chef myself, I know that Andy's committment to local produce is not necessarily the most economical way to do things, but the quality is fantastic. This makes the very reasonable pricing all the more appreciated!

I was made to feel welcome and valued as a guest and look forward to staying again soon.

Anne, if you're reading this, thank you for returning my shirt all washed and pressed!

Outstanding. Thank you.

“super food, facilities and nice people too!”

One of the highlights of my stay in Dungannon was a visit to Reah's restaurant. With its friendly staff providing plentiful supply of elegantly presented, mouthwatering dishes. A great menu with something to suit all tastes and with service to match it goes down as one of my best dining experiences. From these luxiourious surroundings one did not want to leave but for a bit of exercise Dungannon town centre is only a 5 minute walk away.
